Dan Black / Pump My Pumps
Pump My Pumps is as slick as modern pop comes. I recently saw Mr. Black open his set at the Bristol harbour fest with this track and it really was and still is an absolute BANGER. Pump My Pumps is like a
roller coaster...slowly but surely you're eased in until suddenly the rush begins and the MASSIVE chorus comes in and pretty much BLOWS YOUR MIND. It's literally unstoppable. Grinding and pounding beats carry the song along an array of pumped up
synths, rattling guitars and general
amazingness until the song trips out and you get that CLASSIC moment where everything goes all
bassy and slow and then BOOM...in comes the incredible chorus again.
